From a single live programme to a day festival, WAVES CROSS expanded in 2025. At The Point Shanghai, we built a 12-speaker Acousmonium system and configured the sound field around the character of each work. More than a playback system, it became a spatial instrument and part of the installation itself. Artists working across sound, moving image and installation brought organic materials, projection, objects and light into the programme, exploring more open relationships between sound and other media.
从一场演出到一个 day festival，WAVES CROSS 在 2025 年继续向外扩展。VOL.2 于 The Point Shanghai 举办，我们搭建了一套由 12 个扬声器组成的 Acousmonium 声音扩展系统，并根据不同作品的声音特性重新组织声场。它既是播放系统，也是空间中的声音装置与创作媒介。来自声音、视觉与装置等不同背景的艺术家共同参与，将有机材料、影像、装置与光线带入现场，尝试声音与不同媒介之间更开放的互动关系。
